There are six lectures between October and April, and outdoor events with visits to local reserves and other places of interest organised throughout the year. Both indoor and outdoor events are free and open to non-members; sometimes pre-booking is required. Donations to help with running costs such as hall bookings and refreshments are appreciated. The sub-committee welcomes suggestions for future events.

|November 18, 2021 at 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm||A talk about the creation of wildflower meadows at Pathhead, Mid Lothian||Dr Sally Gouldstone will talk about the Seilich wildflower meadows at Pathhead in MidLothian. She will talk about their creation and the uses to which she puts the flowers and hers that grow in the meadows. |December 16, 2021 at 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm||Lothians SWT Reserves||A tour of Lothian SWT's Reserves by the people who know them. Our reserves rangers will give us a visual and verbal tour of the major Lothians area reserves and provide information to help plan your visits in the coming year.|
